Energy

Goldman Environmental Consultants believes energy conservation is a beneficial way for industries and institutions to reduce cost, improve system performance, and create other opportunities. But the goals of energy conservation can not impede the growth or mission of the organization.

GEC's energy audits and surveys provide useful conservation ideas and innovations. GEC's qualified staff helps clients incorporate alternative energy resources and implement energy reduction techniques.

Audits and Surveys

Goldman Environmental Consultants completes energy audits consistent with the Department of Energy (DOE) COM Check and RES Check for commercial and residential structures. GEC conducts on-site inspections and surveys that analyze building structures in order to evaluate energy requirements and identify energy conservation opportunities. GEC's audits and inspections follow federal and state guidelines.

Conservation

Goldman Environmental Consultants conducts various energy-design and retrofit project designs, which utilize energy efficient products and methods that reduce and conserve energy. GEC's energy conservation experience includes green building design, water-use, septic system discharge, and rainfall runoff recharge design. Also, GEC supports numerous clients in building design and retrofit projects intended to incorporate resource conservation including energy reduction, water use reduction, stormwater minimization and waste minimization.

Alternatives

Goldman Environmental Consultants explores alternative forms of energy including nuclear, fossil, hydro, and wind. GEC conducts alternative energy studies, most of which include regulatory submittal and review including on-site surveys, data generation and analysis. GEC's understanding of alternative energy use also includes physical boundary parameters, construction techniques and impacts, and cost considerations.
